There is an old saying that Congress is comprised of work horses and
show horses. NASULGC's annual Congressional Champion Award is a
sculpture of a work horse and is presented to a member of the U.S.
Senate or House of Representatives who is a true champion of
America's land-grant system. |

Each year the Policy Board of Directors of NASULGC's Board on
Agriculture Assembly selects a member of the United States
Senate or House of Representatives to be honored as NASULGC's
"Congressional Champion." This award, in the form of a bronze
sculpture by Wyoming artist Robin Laws, has been presented annually
since 2003. |
